Boum is a cartoonist living in Montreal. She is mostly known for Boumeries, a journal comic she drew for almost ten years and self-published in ten volumes, which was also collected into an omnibus by Glénat Québec. She also wrote A Small Revolution (Front Froid, 2012 and 2021 and Soaring Penguin Press, 2017) and Nausées matinales et autres petits bonheurs (La Pastèque, 2019). She is currently working on a book titled La méduse (The Jellyfish), which will be published by Éditions Pow Pow in 2022. Her comics are shortlisted for many awards across the years: Bédélys, Expozine, Joe Shuster, Ignatz, Doug Wright... She also illustrates kids' books.
